Some time ago, I appeared with Gary
Zukav on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and that appearance has
produced a modest interest in Deadly Kin, which is presently out
of print. There have been a lot of changes in my life and outlook since
Bill and I wrote that book, and I have created this web site as a way for
old friends, and individuals interested in the book, to reach me.
During my lifetime I have worn a lot of hats. I have been a graduate student in Philosophy, an Attorney, a writer and an inept business man. Today, I am a nurse. At the heart of nursing is caring, and caring is transformative. I do not mean to suggest that nursing transforms every person who enters the profession. But throughout history nursing has transformed and changed some men who accepted it as a calling.
I am currently working on a new book which deals with my own "transformation by nursing." It is tentatively titled Child of the Sleeping Mother. I hope to find a publisher and finish this project by September of 2004. Meanwhile, this Web site shares a little of how my journey into nursing has changed me over the years. Each page details a new outlook or interest I have, or activity I have undertaken, as a result of this journey. If you would like to discuss some of these ideas and experiences, write to me.
